Here is the link to the final Showreel. Unortunatley, due to a problem with some footage, I wasn't able to follow the plan I had signed out and had to make changes at the last minute. The main theme was a sketchbook and I beliee that, even with the little time I had to complete it, I maneged to create something simple and effective.

Typoraphy

Here are the fonts created for the Typography brief. I wanted to focus on coulours and shapes ah how the could move and change a smile linear font. I am happy with the results.

Photoshop Timeline Tutorial

Here are a few images and pieces of footage created during the Photoshop timeline tutorial. Really pleased to learn these new tool and I will certainly use them in future projects. We learned how to create GIFs, hand drawn frame-by-frame animation and rotoscope animation.

Sugar

Here is a text animation created on After Effects, it's mainly focused on the 3D feature and it's effects. This was inspired by Maroon 5's "Sugar.

Solids linked

Here are a few jpeg images of solid objects made on Cinema 4D during a Workshop lesson. During this lesson we went into detail with materials and shading, as well as simple animation and graphics.

Fairy Tale

Here is the link to the short section of animation created for the Fairy Tale Workshop. It was section 28 of a fixed scale in which each number is a 10 second animation that describes a specific part of a story. This was created using After Effects and Illustrator.

Mobile Phone App Workshop

Here are two screenshots taken suring the App Development lesson during workshop week, where we created our own rolling-ball maze game for iOS and Android, as well as learning some parts of the process in producing and destributing a mobile phone app.

Animation Draft Piece

Illustrator Rocket

A simple illustration of a Rocket created on Adobe Illustrator.
I'm not a fan of this software but I find it relatively easy to use and this was simple to create.

Development

Here are some develpoment sketches for the Earth Artifact Project, including some watercolour backgrounds and a character development. Still have a lot to work on for this project.

Text Animation

This is a simple text aniamtion made on After Effects. I found it really fun and easy to created this piece. As music I used "Pure Imagination" fro the film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Idea Sketch

Sketch from my sketchbook depicting the first stages of the development of an idea. Used water colours for this one. I believe the design should be updated and detailed a little more.

Earth Artifact Mind Maps

Images of mind maps created for the Earth Artifact project. Again using Post-it notes. Found it easy to generate ideas with this brief although I didn't find much research to work on.

Robot Animation

Here is a smiple robot animation created on After Effects. Enjoyed creating this one and found the mode of animation really effective.
